IRIX 150mm f2.8 Macro Dragonfly Lens Nikon F is a modern and versatile macro telephoto lens designed for full-frame high-resolution DSLR cameras. With its focal length of 150mm and 1:1 scale of reproduction, these are the basic features of the new product that allows comfort working with small objects. Thanks to the possibility of being able to move away from the photographed object, this makes the operation more convenient than using lenses with a shorter focal length.
No shadows are cast on the object and it is also possible to use lamps dedicated to this type of photography. Its fast aperture of f/2.8 facilitates shorter exposure times, while its moderately long focal length of 150mm provides an excellent compromise between the narrow viewing angle desired in macro, advertising and portrait photography, and the convenience of hand-held photography.

Optimized for close-up shooting, the IRIX 150mm f2.8 Macro Dragonfly Lens Nikon F is a medium telephoto prime featuring a life-size 1:1 maximum magnification and a 1.1′ minimum focusing distance for photographing nearby subjects. A bright f/2.8 maximum aperture enables working in a variety of lighting conditions and also offers greater control over depth of field for isolating subject matter.
The 12 element, nine group optical design features a Neutrino coating, which helps to suppress lens flare and ghosting in order to achieve higher contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions.
Complementing the optical assets is a robust physical construction, dubbed Dragonfly, which incorporates extensive weather sealing to guard against dust and moisture. This manual focus lens also features printed focus distance and depth of field scales to benefit fast and accurate focusing, and a rounded 11-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth bokeh quality.
Additionally, the included tripod collar has an Arca-type compatible foot for seamless compatibility with a variety of tripod heads.

Returning your product if it’s unwanted:

We do ask when returning use a reputable courier with a tracking service and the item to be fully insured. Please be aware that we’ll only process your refund once the item has been returned and checked by our specialist; this can take up to 14 days.
