The Sigma 15mm f2.8 EX DG Fisheye Lens is a full-frame fisheye auto focus lens that fills the entire 35mm negative with a full 180 degree diagonal field of view. This unique lens enables you to create a variety of unusual compositions even when shooting ordinary subjects. The improved DG lens coating reduces flare and ghosting, which is a common problem of digital cameras, and also creates an optimum colour balance. Since most Digital SLR cameras use a smaller image sensor size (APS-C) than 35mm film cameras, 180 degree angle-of-view can not be obtained with Digital SLR cameras. With those cameras only the center part of the frame is used, therefore, peripheral distortion will be very small. The super wide angle of this lens makes it ideal for use with digital SLR cameras, providing a focal view of approximately 23mm.

The Sigma 15mm f2.8 EX DG Fisheye Lens is equipped with a new multi-layer coating technology that reduces both flare and ghosting. By taking advantage of both the distortion aberration, specific to fisheye lenses and the minimum shooting distance of 15 cm (5.9 inches), the photographer can shoot creative images.

The Sigma 15mm f2.8 EX DG Fisheye Lens is equipped with a new multi-layer coating technology that reduces both flare and ghosting. This also ensures an accurate color balance and high definition results.

180 degree field of view of this fisheye lens can be used to create amazing image expressions that cannot be seen with the human eye, such as exaggerated perspective and distortion.

The minimum shooting distance of this lens is only 15cm(5.9 inch) and it has maximum magnification of 1:3.8. Minimum shooting distance of 15cm (5.9in.) and large depth of field allow close up photography that covers the objects surrounding the photographic subject.
Gelatin Filter Holder
The Sigma 15mm f2.8 EX DG Fisheye Lens is supplied with a gelatin filter holder at the rear, allowing the use of gelatin filters.
