Outstanding Optical Performance
Building on the reputation of the existing SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art as one of the highest-performing standard zooms on the market, this new mirrorless optic delivers even sharper results across the frame, particularly towards the periphery. The lens features an ultra-wide aperture of F1.4, making it ideal for low-light photography and delivering a shallow depth of field for background blur. The bokeh is smooth and attractive, and the out-of-focus highlights are nicely rounded.
Ultra-Fast Autofocus
The SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG DN | Art is the first DG DN lens in the Art line to incorporate Sigma’s new HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) autofocus motor technology. This ensures fast, accurate and near-silent focusing, with exceptional tracking performance. The new HLA motor allows the use of a single double-sided aspherical element as the focusing lens, delivering both autofocus and optical design benefits.
Robust but Compact Design
The SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG DN | Art is a light and compact lens that feels well-balanced on a full-frame mirrorless camera. It is dust- and splash-resistant, with a rubber seal around the mount and a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element. The outer barrel is constructed of TSC (Thermally Stable Composite), ensuring consistent performance in all environments.
Advanced Feature-Set Designed for Professional Use
The lens barrel is equipped with a range of useful functions, including a manual aperture ring, an Aperture Ring Click switch, an AFL button, a Focus Mode switch, and a rubberized focus ring. The lens is crafted using cutting-edge manufacturing technology and is evaluated with Sigma’s proprietary MTF measuring system, ensuring consistently excellent products that photographers can rely on.

Returning your product if it’s unwanted:
Please return your item unused and in original condition (as it was received by you) with proof of purchase within 14 days, and we’ll give you an exchange or refund.
We do ask when returning use a reputable courier with a tracking service and the item to be fully insured. Please be aware that we’ll only process your refund once the item has been returned and checked by our specialist; this can take up to 14 days.
