The original Sony A7 set the tone for the years ahead when it was released back in 2013. This third iteration brings further advancement for Sony’s popular CSC line-up. The Sony A7 III features a newly developed back-illuminated 24.2MP full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor, and a redeveloped BIONZ X processing engine. 4K HDR video, and 15-stops of dynamic range also add to the appeal of this camera.

- Utilise the touch screen to find focus in a shot thanks to the A7 Mark III’s Touch Focus and Touch Pad functions. Either tap on the rear screen to find your focus, or intuitively drag the focus frame across the shot while using the viewfinder
- Shoot in a continuous burst at up to 10 frames per second with AF/AE tracking, or up to 8 frames per second burst shooting when in Live View mode
- Capture stunning 4K High Dynamic Range video (without pixel binning) and make the most of the new Hybrid Log Gamma profile for extra flexibility in post-production
- Unlike the previous A7 model, the Mark III uses the high-capacity NP-FZ100 battery, allowing users to shoot up to 710 images on one charge
Revolutionary Eye AF
The Eye AF can now be used in conjunction with the AF-C mode to deliver fast and effective eye detection and tracking. Ideal for still photography, this easy-maintenance optimum focus works wonders on moving subjects. It has forever revolutionised the way portraiture is shot. The Eye AF works even if the face is partially obscured, when the subject is looking down, and when the subject is backlit making it perfect for all occasions.
Incredible High-Resolution 4K HDR
The Sony A7 III features 2.4-times higher oversampling for exceptionally true-to-life 4K movies. The newly implemented Hybrid Log-Gamma picture profile warrants instantaneous HDR workflow. Thanks to the full-pixel readout with absolutely no binning in the 35mm Full-Frame mode minimise moiré and jaggies.
Other benefits such as the Fast Hybrid AF with focal-plane phase-detection AF and contrast-detection AF deliver smooth subject tracking for video capture. The user has improved freedom of matching the focus response to a particular scene whether it requires slow motion or high-octane action. Additionally, the AF/AE tracking is fundamentally silent which is ideal for wildlife recording for both still and moving image.
Exceptionally Gorgeous Low-Light Imagery
Area-specific Noise Reduction amalgamated with Detail Reproduction technologies preserve beautiful details in images while reducing unwanted noise. The ISO range has been generously extended to ISO 100-51200 and is further expandable to ISO 50-204800 for still images. Thanks to the outstanding performance in the mid-to-high sensitivity range, the Sony A7 Mark III produces an abundance of details in images taken in low-lit conditions.

Please return your item unused and in original condition (as it was received by you) with proof of purchase within 14 days, and we’ll give you an exchange or refund.
We do ask when returning use a reputable courier with a tracking service and the item to be fully insured. Please be aware that we’ll only process your refund once the item has been returned and checked by our specialist; this can take up to 14 days.
