We love helping people get the most out of their photography and we’ve been doing it for 70 years.
What We Offer
Our Photography Workshops & Walks give you access to local photographers who have great knowledge of Cambridge and the surrounding towns and countryside and wildlife. It’s a chance to learn new techniques, try out your new equipment and identify capture and review shots.
1. Workshops
These events provide hands-on instruction and guidance to help photographers develop their skills in specific areas of photography, such as portrait, landscape, or product photography.
2. Photography meetups
These events are informal gatherings of photographers who come together to share their passion for photography, socialise, and explore their local environment together.
3. Photowalks
When you have received a call from us to confirm your film is ready to be collected. Simply pop into the shop with your slip and pay the outstanding balance.
4. The Cambridge Photography Show
The Cambridge Photography Show brings together professionals and enthusiasts to network, learn about the latest trends and technologies in the industry, and attend informative sessions led by experts in the field.
5. Masterclasses
Masterclasses provide an opportunity for photographers to learn from and be inspired by well-known and highly experienced professionals in the photography industry.
6. Photography Tours
Photography tours take photographers to new and exciting locations, providing them with the opportunity to capture unique and stunning images while exploring new cultures and environments.

Photo Talks: Peregrines & Cambridge’s Natural Treasures with Jamie
We are thrilled to welcome Jamie, a passionate local wildlife photographer with a deep connection to the natural world right here in Cambridge. With years of experience capturing the rich biodiversity of the area, Jamie has honed his skills in photographing elusive creatures and documenting the beauty of Cambridge’s wildlife. His love for nature doesn’t stop there—Jamie also specializes in photographing Peregrines, those majestic birds of prey that grace our city’s skies.

Photo Talks: A Cambridge Diary - a 365 day project that took 13 years
Martin Bond is a professional photographer who has lived in Cambridge all his life. His personal photography project — A Cambridge Diary, saw him post a photograph of his hometown online every day for more than thirteen years. At the end of last year at number 5,000, he published his final continuous daily picture receiving the attention of national and international media including The Guardian, BBC and Smithsonian Magazine. He has published two books - ’Town & Gown’ and ’Time & Space’ - each with a picture for every day of the year selected from his archive of photographs. Martin will be talking about his Cambridge Diary project, his photography and his unexpected move into publishing.
